Homework and News Week 10

The last week of Term 3. Check out the events ahead.

Kaitlyn's visit to California

Hi everyone! I have had a great time in California it is very hot over here and one day it was 41 degrees Celsius. It was REALLY hot. We went to 6 flags zoo / theme park which was a lot of fun. Some of my favourite animals were shouka the orca, the dolphins and a lot more. My favourite rides were the cobra rollercoaster and another one, that I can’t remember its name. We also did a lot of shopping at the malls, it was great fun. I met my old dog named Shasta, she is doing great. We have a key to the swimming pool so we go in there once or twice a day. The time difference puts you off quite a bit. It is 5 hours difference between here and new Zealand. It is also a day behind. But you get use to it after a while. Here is a picture of my great grandma who is 92 years old, a girl who lives next door and myself. We were in a cold hot tub to cool down. Not to heat up. Like we need that! Miss you all, see you next term.

Mapua School having a Long Lunch

What a hot and sunny day just sitting there having lunch. Mapua School went down to the Wharf to celebrate the 2011 Rugby world Cup!!
